Last month, Klüber Lubrication GB organised and successfully held a training day at the BMW Mini plant in Oxford.
The event which was instigated by David Cole, Area Sales Manager at Klüber Lubrication and Neil Costar, Purchasing Co-ordinator at BMW Oxford was done so that information could be delivered to maintenance planners and engineers on-site about tribology, oil and greases, and automotive MRO lubricants.
On the day 14 people attended the event to listen to David discuss several topics, including the subjects of paint conveyors, overhead and floor conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, compressors, energy-saving, assembly aids, Klübermatics and NHV.
Speaking about the event, Neil Costar said that; “Klüber Lubrication technicians organised a training day here at the BMW Mini Plant Oxford. Here they presented an overview of the different types of lubrication and systems currently used and available, which were presented to maintenance technicians across 2 sessions. The event included practical discussions where potential solutions to live current running issues were discussed and information swapped. It was a very rewarding and successful day for both companies.”
The event was a success across the board, with Klüber Lubrication reporting that following on from the event, several enquiries were made.
